About
JMatrix is a prototype KnowledgeBase and community for Java Professionals.
The site is a combination of many things, and has been developed over the course
of several years. It includes:
- A feature rich KnowledgeBase system, including
- KnowledgeBase cases -- in the traditional sense of a knowledgebase.
- Pervasive search subsystem. For a knowledgebase, search is king, and all data is relevant.
The search subsystem allows users to search forums, defects (or tickets), email messages,
as well as traditional KnowledgeBase cases.
- A complete defect tracking system
- Ticket creation, assignment, notes, audit trail.
- Ticket notifications -- users are notified upon assigment, or state change
- All ticktes are integrated into the search subsystem... searchs of the knowledgebase will also search tickets.
- A forums module
- A content management system
- An RSS feeds system.
