BitLoader

BitLoader is a Download Manager, used to safely download files via HTTP. This is espeically useful for very large downloads via http, including binary media files. These are often posted on newsgroup aggregators, such as Easynews. The BitLoader can successfully pause and re-start downloads - often useful when moving across many wireless networks with a laptop. Downloads can be started from one network, and then continued at a later time on another network.

BitLoader can be launched now with Java Web Start. There are two versions, the latest stable build and the latest nightly build:
